This post was inspired by watching the Rachel Ray show while on Vacation.  I remembered hearing this a while back, but never thought to keep the informatin in my memory bank.  Now I think it is important so I am going to write it down and put this in my binder and coupon envelopes. 

Did you know that bread is delivered fresh to stores five days a week. Bread is delivered on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and each day has a different color twist tie.

Monday - Blue
Tuesday - Green
Thursday - Red
Friday - White
Saturday - Yellow

The colors are in ABC order so you want forget.  B, G, R, W, and Y.

Wow, I was excited to go to Ingles this week I was waiting on a great sale for them.  I really needed a sugar refill, so I'm glad it was on sale.  I occasionally make Kool-Aid for my husband and my son, so the sugar want last long.  I had a problem with purchasing the Tide, but the Customer Service Rep took care of it for me.  I have a question have you ever had a problem buying HE detergent at the sale price?  After she corrected my order she went to check the isle and told me that HE was not on sale.  She showed me the sales paper that said selected varieties.  I never thought that HE was a selected variety.  She actually wanted to charge me the $7.98.  Is HE considered a variety?

Target Clearance Indicators

A few things I've learned by shopping at Target is that every thing goes on sale.  That is my feeling basically about every clothing item in every store.  I never like to pay full price for clothing for the are sure to go on sale.  Now whether or not it's still there in your size is another thing altogether.  What I have found is that Target Clearance items are marked down based on the last number in the mark down price.  If that number ends in an 8, it will be marked down again.  If that number ends in a 4 it's the lowest it will be marked down.   They also have particular days when they mark down items in the store.

I Scream for Ice Cream

My family loves Magnum Ice Cream, so we found that we could purchase it for a great low price we loaded up the truck and headed to Publix.  We even stopped by to pick up a friend so she could enjoy the great taste of Magnum Ice Cream.  My son also secretly stuck a Reese's Cup on the belt when I wasn't watching.  I was glad he did because I wasn't sure if I was going to need it to balance my coupons.  I normally never take my son to the store, but today he asked if he could travel with us.  I sent him to the register to price check the mini's ice cream and the cashier told him they were $3.50, but she was mistakenly in the price and size.  The manager agreed to give me the mini's for $3.50 instead of their $5.99 price.  I prefer the mini's, because I know my children will not have any problems finishing them (no waste).

CVS Deal

Wow what an adventure I had at my CVS (the one I frequent most often).  I've been going to my store since they first open the doors, but when I went to the store on Friday it did not look the same.  I searched and searched for the magic coupon machine and it was no where to be found.  I thought they had moved it to another location in the store.  It was also the day for the one day deal on Coke products.  I wanted to scan my card to receive my coupon for a 12 pack of Coke for $1.99 with a $10 purchase.  I had strategically waited to Friday to shop so that I would come out on top, but that didn't happen.  I was alerted that someone drove a van into the doors of my CVS to try to steal the ATM (they weren't successful), but in the process they smashed up my magic coupon machine.  There was no hope for me to retrieve my coke coupon.  I could have gone to another store, but I was in the process of leaving town, so I missed out on the coke deal.

Price-Matching @ Walmart

My husband was heading out for an oil change, so I decided I would benefit from the trip without leaving home.  Like I stated earlier I like price matching at Walmart to save when I can without having to drive to more than one store.  I sent him to Walmart with a Kroger ad to pick up all detergent that is on sale at Kroger for $2.99.  He also decided to ad-lib and pick up a can of Cutter's Insect Spray.  I told him he did a great job except for the added item (I had a coupon for Cutter's, $1 off).  Overall he did a great job. I will be sure to send him out again.

Amazon Deals on Cereal

I try to find a bargain wherever I can.  I purchased 3 boxes of 12.2 oz Apple Jack Cereal with subscribe and save through Amazon. This is my second purchase with this offer.  I was posting this post and went to link the amazon page to this post to find that the price has risen.  The subscribe and save price is now $12.80 (no deal).  I was able to get the three boxes for $5.51 shipped to my front door.  I didn't use a coupon, but I saved time from going to the store and buying gas for the car. 

Watermelon at Walmart

Not a great deal after all my great deal on a watermelon at Walmart turned out to be a big tragedy.  The watermelon was horrible.  It was not red on the inside, it was not sweet.  It taste as if it was picked too early.  I was so disappointed. The watermelon went to the trash, because the $2.99 I spent wasn't worth the gas to take it back.

Price Matching @ Walmart

Wow, I like price matching at Walmart.  I went to Walmart with ads in hand to get the same deal from Kroger and Aldi's at Walmart.  It saves me a trip to be able to shop at one location.  Gas is so High with price matching I don't have to drive as far.

Cow Day @ Chick-fil-A

Save the Date July 13, 2012

My family had such a fun time doing this last year.  We all dressed in our best cow outfit and went out to Chick-Fil-A for our free meal.  Strap on your best black and white outfit and head out to your local Chick-Fil-A to take advantage of this great customer appreciation meal.  It is a complete meal, so don't let this pass you by.  Once again set you calendars for July 13, 2012.
