I love Ocean Spray Cranberry juices, my favorite is crangrape.  I got excited to see this coupon on Facebook that would allow you to Buy One Get One Free on Cran Cherry.  I can't wait to give it a try to see how it compares to the cran-grape. 

Kroger Game Day Savings

Kroger has daily coupon savings when you visit their site and download the ecoupon to your shoppers card.  The store will release a new ecoupon every day that will be aligned with their current mega event savings.  Remember that Kroger's ecoupon can not be paired with a paper manufacture coupon.  You will only receive one ecoupon for one item.  You can use manufacture coupons for the rest of your items.

Shopping @ Ingles

It is best to get rainchecks on items you buy all the time when the store is out.  I was able to obtain 2 (one for me and one for my daughter limit 1 per person) rainchecks on Dixie Crystals sugar when my Ingles store was out.  The sale price was 1.98.  At Ingles you have to make a ten dollar purchase before coupons will double.

Recycling and Earning with Recyclebank

Famer's Market Shopping

Staying with the Boost Your Budget Pantry Challenge we have been trying to purchase lots of fruits and vegetables to add to pantry and freezer items to keep our budget low.  Today my Hubby went to the Farmer's Market alone, so he went over his weekly $20 budget.  He spent $39.82 on vegetables, fruits, eggs, turkey sausage and chicken sausage.  I wasn't with him so he can't say I took him over his budget.  Overall, he did a great job and we should be good until our next Sunday's run. 

Boost Your Budget Pantry Challenge--------------Week 4

Last week I did pretty well.  I spent approximately $32.00 on Fresh Fruits and Veggies at the Farmer's Market and a last minute trip for Hubby to Publix where I spent $21.56.  Total for last week $51.56 well under budget for the month.  I am using this challenge as an opportunity to reduce the amount of money spent on food and household items for the month of January.  The goal I set for myself is $200 for the month.  I believe I am going to make it we'll see at the end of the challenge.

Cards You Must Have to Save Money

          These are cards I use to save money.  You can pick them up free at your local store.  The Green bag tag cost .99 cents at CVS, but many times throughout the year a free coupon pops up at the majic coupon machine.  The Green bag tag when used during CVS shopping will allow you to receive a $1.00 extra bucks every four times you shop at CVS.  The Green bag tag can be used only once per day.  Go out and grab your cards, so you will be well off to saving a great deal of money.

Boost Your Budget Pantry Challenge------------Week 3

I'm participating in the Boost Your Budget Pantry Challenge, so I'm tyring not to purchase any pantry items for a while.  Last week I spent a little less than $40.00 on items for the home, but not many food items.  So I am staying under my budget for the month.  I started this week off at the Farmer's Market purchasing fresh fruits and veggies to go with the food we already have.  I spent $31.00 at the Farmer's Market.  So let's see what I can get away with not buying this week to stay under budget.

Dollar General is not my favorite store to use coupons.  There is always a problem with their machines and accepting coupons. After 30 minutes of waiting they finally worked it out.

Kroger Shopping

I found a few great deals at Kroger.  My husband loves Tide and washes clothes everyday, so we go through quite a bit of Tide.  I like Tide, but sometimes use other brands to get over a hump. I normally purchase my newspaper from newspaper sellers on the street for $1.50, but my husband forgot so I had to pay full price in the store.  Here's a look at what I got at Kroger.

CVS Majic Coupon Machine

When you visit your local CVS store make sure you stop at the majic coupon machine first.  The machines gives you coupons that you can use in the store.  These coupons can also be used with manufacture coupons to create a great deal.  You can scan your card twice daily.  I scan my card back to back and many times I get different coupons if coupons are available.

Clearance, Clearance Everywhere!

RiteAid

 I was out and about when I noticed several clearance signs EVERYWHERE!  CVS has Christmas Clearance at 90% off, RiteAid 75% off and Dollar General 70% off.  It is now time to stock up on cards, ribbons, wrapping paper and bows.  Some places don't have much left, but there are still a few places that have tons of stuff available.  Search out those stores that are not near major roads and intersections and you should be able to get some great deals.

Kroger 7 Day Meat Sale

If you live near Kroger you might want to check out their 7 day meat sale.  They have a great deal on Tyson Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast for $1.99 lb.  This is a great stock up price.  These are great to put on the grill or to use for chicken salad on those quick meal nights.  Kroger is also hosting their first 50% off sale.  Kroger has a variety of items listed at 50% off. 

Boost Your Budget Pantry Challenge--------Week 2

My stockpile is not as great as the extreme couponers, but I have built a small stockpile that I am proud of.  I am usually able to get away with spending very little on pantry items each month, but bargains on meat are harder to find.  I am going to join Denise @ Shopperstrategy to try to reduce my stockpile for the month of January.  I want to reduce my average spending to $200 dollars for January.  My family is a family of carnivores so this is where most of our money goes. We all so like to endulge several times a week eating out because of hectic work and school schedules, but when we eat out we make sure we use some type of restaurant special or coupon.   I am looking forward to reducing my stockpile and saving a little money on the side.

If you love Sharpies as I do, you can purchase two sets at Staples for $3.00 each.  Each pack contains 12 fine tip Sharpies.  You can choose from all black or multi-colors.  You can also purchase this deal online at Staples  and have them shipped to you or your local store.

Great Deals @ TARGET

Target has Christmas decorations, cards and candy marked 70% off.  They also have toys on clearance.  I saw McDonalds toy play sets marked at $5.00 each. They also have some great outdoor games on sale including horseshoe and bing bag toss.  Stock up now for next Christmas and birthday parties for kids throughout the year. 

Groupon

Another great way to save on things you buy regularly in your own neighborhood is to use Groupon.  If you have not had an opportunity to use Groupon register today and give it a try.  You will find deals on bargains that are in your neighborhood with at least a 50% discount.

New Year Deals

There are a lot of new coupon policy changes, so make sure are aware of them before you go out to shop.  If you are interested in some new Christmas decorations, cards, or ornaments this is the perfect week to look for them.  Most items are on sale for 50% off, but I like to buy at 70-90% off.  This is also the month to purchase sheets, towels and linens.
